Invisalign

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces. The aligners are invisible, comfortable, and removable to make for a smooth transition to straight teeth. Invisalign has no metal or wires, so there is minimal mouth irritation and dental visits. Using Invisalign allows for easier eating, brushing, and flossing because of its ability to be removed.

How Can Invisalign Help Me?

Invisalign has the capability to straighten your teeth, fix an overbite or under bite, and correct spacing issues without anyone knowing. Each aligner transforms your teeth to get closer to the end goal. Invisalign is the easiest and most convenient option, allowing you to live normally while straightening your teeth. At Dater Dentistry, we are focused on providing you with a comfortable experience that gives you something to smile about.

Getting Your Invisalign

Getting an Invisalign at Dater Dentistry has never been easier. Our Invisalign certified staff helps you achieve the results you want, and ensure you are getting the most out of your treatment. If you think Invisalign is right for you, start the process by scheduling a consultation at Dater Dentistry.

Initial Consultation

The first step of the Invisalign treatment process is scheduling your consultation. You may be wondering “Will Invisalign work for me?” or “How much does Invisalign cost?” The scheduled consultation allows you to ask all of these questions and more, to ensure Invisalign is the right solution. During your consultation, Dr. Steve and our team will talk about everything from the treatment process to the end results.

First Appointment

Once you’re cleared to start Invisalign, we will take x-rays, pictures, and impressions of your teeth to feed into a 3D modeling computer program. The program maps out your treatment phases and determines the length of your treatment. The program also constructs each aligner so they match each treatment phase and work to reach the end goal.

Treatment Stage

The treatment stage begins when you receive your first aligner. Each aligner is personal to your teeth and your treatment, and is changed every two weeks. You should wear your Invisalign for about 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat and brush your teeth. Invisalign requires less dental work, meaning you only have to visit us every six months for a check up.

End Result

After about 9-15 months of treatment, you should see the results you are looking for. Invisalign will have straightened your teeth, fixed an over/under bite, or corrected tooth spacing, leaving you with more confidence and a reason to smile.
